Well I watched every single avatar and the last Airbender episodes as soon as they came out. So about a year for those. And for the legend of Korra, I lagged behind on when they came out, so I waited for the day when there was the premiere and I watched the rest in two days
Oh, gawds. It seems this character is on every corner of this website (and I've been told that he only had a brief appearance in the show). All I can say is, great depiction of him! (One of the better ones, I must admit) (Sinister, yet handsome) and well drawn!
Yes, haha. Someone once, showed me a scene with him, and said it was one of the only scenes he was in (and he only had about two lines). Honestly, I think this odd attraction everyone has to him is partially due to his voice.
Oh. I think its pretty obvious. Amon is Yakone. Before having his bending removed he used his blood bending to manipulate his own body, to allow himself to continue bending. Knowing he could never defeat the Avatar 1 on 1 he decided to seek revenge on the Avatar. Utilizing his power and knowledge of the city... he decided to create a group which everyone could get behind and fear at the same time. Personally, I think Amon is paitently waiting for Korra to enter the avatar... that way he can kill her and end the cycle once and for all.
True, and his being Yakone is strengthened in the fact that Tarlok was performing blood bending on him and he was able to resist it even when it wasn't the full moon. Another theory about Amon is that he is a scam artist since the chakra of illusion lies in the forehead, and when Aang took away bending, he touched the heart and the head, whereas Amon only ever touches the head.
