XD Nah, it's fine, but that's sweet of you. I am a little disappointed, but then again, I guess mine didn't focus too much on the actual topic of the contest and more of became a piece of its own, a little independent of an actual message against smoking. I think that's what did it, not the technique.
I won't pursue it, but I really feel you ought to have it. It wouldn't be a charity/sympathy gift either: You've a lot more 'fans' and your own webcomic, ergo you'd benefit the most from a Premium Membership(although, it seems as though all a PM nets you is some auxiliary widgets and the option to choose from their assortment of ugly profile backgrounds).
Neither did my entries. Of course, like we had discussed prior to submitting, the subject matter/criteria itself was already a bit of a creative trap to begin with: That is to say, it was almost impossible to produce a piece that didn't come off as ham-fisted/inelegant.
At least you came away from it with a piece you can personally appreciate.
Thank you! Ah! Your "Cancerous" piece was one I was eyeing! I actually was going to call my piece Cancerous but I forgot the name while drawing it, knowing it started with a C, and landed on "Contagious." Eh, maybe it's second hand smoke. Anyway, great piece and best of luck in the competition!
Thanks. Best of luck to you as well! Your disgusting models are so eye-catching and the concept behind "Hidden Danger" is wonderful. That's definitely one I clicked on while browsing the entries. Very cancerous. Good luck!
oh my God. This is STUNNUNG. I 'm not sure that the word "ugly" suits this incredible art pic. It's unbelievable to not be captured by his glance and thinking "he's handsome and desperate", but then you look at his body and you feel something disturbing in your stomach. I congratulate with you, my dear. I hope you are all right and that your life is proceeding as happy as possible. bye my lovely friend, see you!
Yes, I'm alright; I haven't responded to your email just yet because I was very wrapped up in this picture, actually. It was drawn over a span of days, off and on, because I could only stand looking at disturbing references on Google Images for so long at a time.
I'm glad you like it, though. I have a feeling it's really panned out.
Oh dear, you don't have to excuse for not responding to my email. You do not have to take it as a stressing thing you must do. Take all the time you need, I will be always waiting to read your words, don't worry.
Yep I read your journl about disturbing references you found on google, but I haven't dared going to see by myself. I hope you will forget soon about them.
